"Alternative rockers The
Bedouins have released their
first full-length cassette,
Singularity. The music kicks off
with a joyous and carefree
accordion riff, and jams out
righteously through 15 tunes." |
The Progmire Syndrome...

"A diverse mixing of sounds, styles and feelings that sound fresh."

The Bedouins reunion - 12.27.01...
|
"The Bedouins reunion has been just as long in the making,
and seeing them this evening was a reminder of how much flavor is
missing from the current local scene. Joe Plessas captivated the
audience with his eerie vocal delivery. Balancing out his Jim Morrison
meets Morrisey vocals, were groove-heavy rhythms, compliments of
the Kane brothers. No easy task, given the intensely intricate patterns
that the music lends itself to. Over all this, AJ Mann adds a heavy-mellowness
to the music, with his slow burning trumpet solos, or his textured
keyboard playing."
"Even after so many years absent from the scene, both bands
attracted a substantial crowd. It seems apparent that there is still
a demand for the unique sounds that each band conjures. Once every
seven years seems so infrequent, but if these bands still sound
this good in 2008, they can expect to see me in the audience."
